It is a family environment where beginners, experienced practitioners, parents, and kids train side by side with mutual respect and encouragement. While we foster camaraderie and personal growth, our mission is serious: to equip you with practical, effective self defense skills through disciplined Krav Maga and Jiu Jitsu instruction. Every class is designed to challenge you physically and mentally while reinforcing confidence, awareness, and resilience. At The Forge, you are not only learning how to protect yourself. “The first day I stepped into the gym I was made to feel welcome. “You want to start tonight? Ok, take off your shoes and get on the mat.” And so it began, with no regrets! The Coach’s knowledge and skill with the ability to teach new students is impressive. Krav is for all ages and backgrounds. Kids through adults. I am an older(70) guy on the down hill slide and can still see the bottom even when I take my glasses off. The Coaches have always been able to come up with “work arounds” for an older body that doesn’t move as good as it used to. Krav Maga is a skill set you take with you every morning you walk out the door. As a middle-aged, newly single mom, I was searching for a way to stay active and healthy while also challenging myself mentally. Martial arts felt like the perfect fit – especially as I was beginning a new chapter in my life and wanted to feel stronger, safer, and more confident.
